Counterterrorism Blog: On the orders of President Bush, the Director of National Intelligence "has released [a] declassified version of the key judgments from the April [National Intelligence Estimate], from which one conclusion was leaked to and reported by the "New York Times." This post by Andrew Cochran includes a link to the declassified document and a summary of its main points.

NEWS

US Central Command: "In three separate incidents in northeastern Afghanistan recently, extremists attacked a mosque, fired rocket propelled grenades at a medical clinic and fired inside a village injuring Afghan children." Attacking a mosque would seem an even greater affront to Islam than the Pope's recent remarks, and yet it hasn't generated the same controversy.

Voice of America: US National Intelligence Director John Negroponte says that the leaked portion of the National Intelligence Estimate gives a distorted picture of the report (see the link above to the Counterterrorism Blog post on the subject).
